ClipBook 1.19: Keep window always open and sound effects
Pin the history window to keep it open, format text using keyboard shortcuts, turn on/off a sound when a new item is added to the clipboard history.
Keep ClipBook window always open
If you need to see your clipboard history all the time, you can now pin the ClipBook window to keep it always open on top of other windows. To pin/unpin the window, click the Pin button as shown below:
When the window is pinned, it will stay open even if you switch to another application. You can still close the window by pressing Esc, ⌘W, or ⇧⌘V.
To unpin the window, click the Pin button again.
Format text using keyboard shortcuts
You can now format text using the following keyboard shortcuts:
Format text action | Shortcut |
---|---|
Make lower case | ⇧⌘L |
Make upper case | ⇧⌘U |
Capitalize words | ⇧⌘A |
Sentence case | ⇧⌘S |
Remove empty lines | ⇧⌘R |
Strip all whitespaces | ⇧⌘T |
Trim surrounding whitespaces | ⇧⌘M |
As usual, you can customize these shortcuts in the Settings -> Shortcuts.
Turn sound on/off
You can now hear a sound when a new item is added to the clipboard history. To turn on/off the sound, go to Settings -> General and check/uncheck Play sound.

- Automatically clear the search query when the ClipBook window is closed and not used for at least 15 seconds.
- The format text menu items are now displayed in the preview pane actions dropdown to let you access them more quickly.
