Files and folders support

ClipBook now remembers all the files and folders you copy. They will be stored in the clipboard history as individual items.

In the Preview panel you can preview the file content, and in the Details panel, you can see the file size, absolute path, and other information.

Search files and folders

You can find files and folders in the clipboard history window by typing the file name or path in the search box. ClipBook will show the matching files and folders in the search results.

You can find the image files by the text in them. ClipBook extracts the text from the image file and remembers it. So you can find the image file by text.

Show in Finder

You can show the selected file or folder in Finder by selecting the Show in Finder option in the commands menu or by pressing O.

Copy text from image file

You can copy the text from the image file to the clipboard in the same way as for the image items. Select the image file and choose the Copy Text from Image option from the commands menu or press C.

Merge files and folders

You can merge multiple files and folders into one by selecting them and choosing the Merge option from the commands menu. ClipBook will take the absolute paths of the selected files and folders and merge them into a single text item.

Other improvements

  • Watch and update the active application in real-time. It’s required when the history window is pinned and stays on top of other windows. Users can switch between applications and ClipBook now knowns what’s the current active app.
  • Fixed broken “Buy” link in the message dialogs.
  • Don’t play sound on copy by default.
