Sometimes you might need to find a specific item in your clipboard history, but you can’t remember any keywords or phrases you can search for. However, you remember another item you copied around the same time.

With this update you can now search for that item and open it in its original position in the entire clipboard history to discover related items around it and find the one you are looking for.

Here’s a short video demonstrating how to do it:

Other improvements

  • The context menu of the item in the clipboard history now provides more commands such as Format Text…, Open in Finder, Open With…, Copy Text from Image, etc.
  • The Open in Browser keyboard shortcut has been changed to as it’s more convenient to use.
  • The About dialog has been moved from the tray app menu to Settings -> About. You can check for updates from there as well.
