Paste next history item
You can now paste the next item in your clipboard history with a single keyboard shortcut without opening the history window.
Work with your clipboard history more efficiently with the new Paste next history item feature in ClipBook 1.29.0. You can now paste the next item in your clipboard history with a single keyboard shortcut without opening the history window. Just press ⌃V to paste the next item in your clipboard history into the currently active application.
You can change the default keyboard shortcut in Settings -> Shortcuts -> Paste next item. The default shortcut is ⌃V.
How it works
ClipBook has a pointer to the latest item in your clipboard history. When you press the Paste next item shortcut, ClipBook takes the item at the pointer position, pastes it into the currently active app, and then moves the pointer to the next item in the history. If you reach the end of the history, ClipBook will do nothing.
The pointer position will reset when you open the clipboard history window, when you copy a new item to the clipboard, or when you close the application.
