How to copy and merge
You can copy text in any app and append it to the text you copied before. This is useful when you collect several pieces of text and want to paste them all at once.
This feature is disabled by default. To enable it, go to Settings → History and enable Enable copy and merge under Copy and merge.
To copy and append text, select it, hold ⌘ and press C twice (⌘CC). ClipBook appends the text to the previously copied item instead of adding a new item.
Choose the separator
To choose what goes between the merged pieces of text, go to Settings → History and choose an option in Separator:
- New line
- Space
- Comma
- Empty: the pieces are joined without a separator.
Put the merged text on the clipboard
By default, ClipBook puts the merged text back on the system clipboard, so you can paste it right away with ⌘V. To keep only the last piece of text you copied on the clipboard, disable Copy merged item to clipboard.
