How to copy text from image

If you have an image with text in your clipboard history, you can copy the text from the image to the system clipboard.

To extract and copy text from a selected image, press ⇧⌘C or select Copy Text from Image from the Commands menu.

Alternatively, you can click this button in the Preview toolbar:

The text from the image is copied to the system clipboard and can be pasted into any application.

To extract text from an image, ClipBook uses OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology. The quality of the extracted text depends on the quality of the image and the text in the image.
