How to copy text from image
When you copy an image, ClipBook recognizes the text in it. You can then copy this text to the clipboard and paste it into any app.
To copy the text from an image, select the image in your clipboard history and do one of the following:
- Click the Copy Text from Image button in the toolbar.
- Right-click the image and select Copy Text from Image.
- Open the Command Palette and select Copy Text from Image.
- In the preview dialog, click the Copy Text from Image button in the toolbar.
This action appears only for images in which ClipBook found text.
ClipBook uses OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to recognize the text. The result depends on the quality of the image and the text in it.
