How to edit history item content
You can edit the content of text, rich text, link, email and color items.
- Select the item and press ⌘E. You can also right-click the item, or open the Command Palette, and select Edit…. ClipBook opens the item in a larger preview, ready for editing.
- Edit the text as you would in any text editor.
- Click Save or press ⌘S.
To undo all your changes and start over, click Restore.
To stop editing without saving, press Esc. If you changed the text, ClipBook asks whether to save the changes. Click Save to keep them or Don’t Save to discard them.
You can also start editing from the larger preview: press Space to open it and click Edit in its toolbar.
To change the ⌘E shortcut, go to Settings → Shortcuts and set a new shortcut for Edit item.
