You can transform the content of text, rich text, link, email and color items. ClipBook has more than 70 transforms, for example:
- Change case: Uppercase, Lowercase, Title Case, Sentence Case, Camel Case, Snake Case, Kebab Case
- Clean up: Trim Surrounding Whitespaces, Remove Extra Spaces, Remove Empty Lines, Remove Duplicate Lines, Strip HTML Tags, Strip Markdown
- Work with lines: Sort Lines, Reverse Lines, Join Lines, Numbered List, Add Bullets
- Encode and decode: Base64 Encode, URL Encode, HTML Encode and their decode versions
- Extract: Extract URLs, Extract Emails, Extract Numbers
To transform the selected item:
- Press ⌘T, or open the Command Palette and select Transform….
- Type to find a transform by its name or description.
- Press ↵ to apply it.
You can also right-click the item and choose a transform from the Transform submenu.
ClipBook replaces the content of the item with the transformed text. Rich text loses its formatting.
To change the ⌘T shortcut, go to Settings → Shortcuts and set a new shortcut for Transform item.
