How to format text on paste

You can format the content of the history item when pasting it into the active application. The following formats are supported:

• Make lower case
• Make upper case
• Capitalize words
• Sentence case
• Remove empty lines
• Strip all whitespaces
• Trim surrounding whitespaces

To format the content of the history item when pasting:

1. Select Paste to {APP_NAME} with Formatting… from the Commands menu. Where {APP_NAME} is the name of the active application.

2. Choose the desired format from the list.

The content of the history item will be formatted and pasted into the active application. The original content of the history item will remain unchanged.
