How to keep favorites and tagged items when clearing history
You can keep your favorite and tagged items when you clear the clipboard history. This way, you keep the items you use often and remove the rest.
- Go to Settings → Storage.
- Enable the Always keep favorites and tagged items option.
This option is enabled by default.
When this option is enabled, ClipBook keeps your favorites and tagged items when:
- You delete all items with Delete All.
- ClipBook clears the history on quit or after a Mac restart.
- ClipBook removes older items automatically.
- You ignore an app and delete the items copied from it.
You can still delete a favorite or tagged item yourself. Select it and press ⌘⌫.
Paste & Delete is not available for favorites and tagged items while this option is enabled.
