How to paste to active macOS app
To paste the selected item to the app you were working in, do one of the following:
- Press ↵.
- Double-click the item.
- Click Paste to {APP_NAME} in the toolbar, where
{APP_NAME}is the app you are pasting to. - Right-click the item, or open the Command Palette, and select Paste to {APP_NAME}.
ClipBook closes the history window and pastes the item into that app.
Paste with or without formatting
By default, ↵ pastes rich text as plain text, and ⇧↵ pastes it with its formatting. To swap them, go to Settings → History and disable Prefer pasting as plain text.
For a file, ⇧↵ pastes its path instead of the file.
Allow ClipBook to paste
To paste into other apps, ClipBook needs the Accessibility permission. See Paste to other applications on your Mac for more details.
