PLEASE READ THIS TERMS OF USE (“TERMS”) CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU (“THE USER”) DOWNLOAD, PURCHASE OR USE CLIPBOOK (“THE SOFTWARE”, “WE”, “US”, “OUR”). BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING THE SOFTWARE AND THE RELATED WEBSITE (“WEBSITE”), YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF USE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE TERMS, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SOFTWARE.
1. License and Use
ClipBook is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a worldwide, personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software on a compatible macOS device.
2. Restrictions
You are not allowed, without obtaining prior written authorization from us, to:
- Distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or lend the Software.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Software.
- Use the Software for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
3. Refund Policy
Every ClipBook purchase is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. If you are not completely satisfied, email us at vladimir.ikryanov@clipbook.app within 14 days of your purchase date and we will refund your payment in full. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask for one.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and are normally processed within a few business days. Once a refund is issued, your ClipBook license is deactivated and you must stop using the Software.
We reserve the right to decline a refund request only in case of clear abuse, such as repeated purchase-and-refund cycles for the same product. This guarantee is in addition to, and does not limit, any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
4. User Data and Privacy
ClipBook stores your clipboard history locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or share your personal data. You are responsible for ensuring the security and privacy of your data.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Software will be error-free or that it will function without interruption. The entire risk arising out of use or performance of the software remains with you.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Software.
7. Updates and Modifications
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Software at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Use, and the updated version will be posted on our website. Your continued use of the Software after any such updates will constitute acceptance of the new Terms.
8. Termination
We may terminate your license to use the Software if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies from your devices.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Kyiv, Ukraine.
